Mada - Grades 2-6 - Science Camp Cooking Back by popular demand! Step into our kitchen for this special four week camp that is sure to fill you up with learning and laughter! Our favorite chef Randi Cutler will be working with your little chef to create delicacies to treat their taste buds! Your camper’s morning will be filled with food and the joys of cooking. Campers will not only cook the menu items, but will also learn about how and where it grows, shopping, preparation, set-up and clean-up! They will even practice dining and party etiquette. This session will conclude with a special parent’s night enjoying foods from our 'Camper Café', with your camper as your waiter/waitress. Video Game Design! Step by step, you can design your own video game this summer! We all have played PS2, Wii & Nintendo, now’s your chance to make a game that’s your own! Explore the concepts of game play and interactive video games. Create the characters, plan the levels, and program the actions to create a video game from scratch! Work with a local computer company to learn all of the necessary skills and have fun doing it. Campers will explore skills such as math, logical reasoning, design, creativity and programming. This session will conclude with a special parent’s night enjoying video games designed and programmed by your camper. |
